The honest version first
This is real work. You'll lift couches down stairwells, wrestle appliances onto a trailer in August heat, and finish some days tired and dusty. If that sentence made you close the tab, no hard feelings — better to know now.
If it didn't, here's the other side: you're outside instead of under fluorescent lights, every job ends with a visible result, and customers are genuinely glad to see you. We're new and we're growing, which means the people who join early help decide what this company becomes.
What a day looks like
- Meet up, load the trailer with dollies and straps, review the day's route
- Drive to jobs around Lincoln and the surrounding towns — garages, basements, estates, curbside piles
- Carry, load, and pack the trailer so nothing shifts and nothing gets scratched on the way out
- Sort as we load: usable goods set aside for Goodwill and Habitat ReStore, metal for recycling, true trash last
- Sweep the space before we leave — every job ends broom-clean
- Run the donation and recycling drops, unload, done
What we value
Care with people's belongings. A lot of what we haul comes out of estates and family homes. The chair might be trash to a stranger; it was somebody's for forty years. We carry it like it matters, because to someone it did.
Punctuality. Customers plan their whole day around our arrival window. Showing up when we said we would is most of the reputation we have.
Strong backs and soft hands. The job takes muscle, but the skill is in the control — through doorways without dinging the trim, down stairs without rushing, onto the trailer without breaking what's underneath.
The deal, plainly
- Pay: competitive hourly, discussed openly at the interview — we'd rather quote you a real number in person than a made-up range online
- Schedule: part-time or full-time, daytime shifts Monday–Saturday, built around your stated availability
- Gear: trailer, dollies, straps, and gloves are provided — bring work clothes and boots
- What it takes: able to lift heavy items with a partner, comfortable working outdoors in Nebraska weather, reliable way to get to the day's first job
- Growth: we're small and new — early crew members shape how this company runs as it grows

No. If you show up on time, work hard, and treat people's belongings with care, we can teach you the rest on the job — loading order, donation sorting, how we talk to customers.
What does the job pay?
Competitive hourly pay, discussed openly at the interview. We'd rather tell you a real number face to face than post an inflated range online.
Is this part-time or full-time?
Either. We're a small, growing crew, so schedules are built around real job volume — some weeks are a few shifts, busy stretches are more. Tell us your availability and we'll be straight about what we can offer.
Do I need my own truck or tools?
No. The trailer, dollies, straps, and gloves are ours. You need reliable transportation to the day's first job and clothes you don't mind working in.
