Terms, without the fine print.

The short version of how a LincolnHaul job works β€” pricing, payment, what we can and can't haul, and who's responsible for what. Effective August 18, 2026.

Plain-English Summary
You get a volume-based estimate up front, and we confirm your exact price on-site before we touch anything β€” once you say yes, that number is locked. We can't haul hazardous stuff. You pay when the job's done. Usable items go to donation. If you think our crew damaged something, tell us and we'll deal with it directly β€” we take reasonable care, but we don't promise a payout in advance.

Estimates & the price-lock

Every price we quote is based on volume β€” how much of the trailer your load actually fills:

  • Single item β€” from $125
  • Quarter trailer β€” $245
  • Half trailer β€” $375
  • Three-quarter trailer β€” $525
  • Full trailer β€” $675

Anything you get from the website, a text, or a phone call is an estimate. Your exact price is confirmed in person, on-site, once we've seen the load β€” and it's confirmed before any work begins. Once you approve that on-site price, it's locked: it doesn't go up mid-job, no matter how heavy the couch turns out to be. If the on-site price isn't what you expected, you can decline and we'll part as friends β€” no charge, no pressure.

A few things can legitimately move a price between the estimate and the walkthrough: more volume than described, items not mentioned up front, or access issues like a third-floor walk-up. That's exactly why we confirm in person first.

What we can't take

Some materials require licensed hazardous-material handling that a hauling crew can't legally provide. We cannot accept:

  • Hazardous waste of any kind, chemicals, pesticides, and solvents
  • Wet paint, motor oil, gasoline, and other fuels
  • Asbestos or material suspected of containing asbestos
  • Propane tanks, compressed gas cylinders, ammunition, and explosives
  • Medical or biohazard waste
  • Anything we can't legally transport or that a disposal facility won't accept

Not sure about an item? Text a photo to (402) 840-3431 and we'll tell you straight. For household hazardous waste, the City of Lincoln runs collection programs that handle it properly β€” we're happy to point you there.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job, at the locked price you approved on-site. No deposits, no prepayment through the website. If a job is scoped in phases (a large estate cleanout, for example), each visit is settled when that visit's work is done unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.

Where your stuff goes

Usable furniture and household goods are donated β€” we take them to Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity ReStore β€” metal is recycled, and only true trash goes to the Bluff Road landfill. Routing decisions are at our discretion: donation centers accept items based on their own condition standards, and we can't guarantee any particular item will be accepted for donation.

If a specific destination matters to you β€” a particular charity, a family member's garage, a donation receipt β€” tell us before the job starts and we'll agree on it up front. Once items leave the property, they're ours to route and can't be retrieved, so double-check for keepsakes and documents before we load.

Damage & responsibility

We take reasonable care with your property β€” pads, dollies, and patience through tight doorways. If you think our crew damaged something, tell us before we leave, or as soon as you notice. We'll come look, tell you straight whether we think it was us, and work it out with you directly, case by case.

What we won't do is promise an outcome in advance. Nothing on this page is an insurance policy or a guarantee of compensation for any particular claim. We're also not responsible for pre-existing damage, the normal wear of moving heavy items along the only available path, items you asked us to haul away, or indirect costs like lost time. Please clear a path where you can and point out anything fragile β€” it helps us protect what's staying.

Your side of the job

  • You own the items being removed, or have the authority to dispose of them
  • Someone with decision-making authority is reachable during the job
  • You've pulled out keepsakes, documents, and valuables before loading starts
  • You've told us about anything on the can't-take list, so nobody's surprised

Need to cancel or reschedule? Just call or text as soon as you know. There's no cancellation fee β€” we'd simply rather know before the trailer's on your street.
